Underwater Gods
Taking his self-built one-man submarine in search of his father’s disappearance, 18-year-old Michael finds Atlantis, the underwater world of the merfolk. There he falls in love with the mermaid Kaphia, a cute anthropologist who yearns to understand human love. Initially awed by their advanced technology, Michael soon recognizes the merfolk’s dangerous undercurrent of anti-human sentiment, threatening not only his life, but all of humanity’s. Together Michael and Kaphia team up to find a solution to human induced climate change in order to stop the merfolk from wiping out our species.
